What is TutorAI, in practice?
A tutor you talk to. Not a library of videos or ready-made exercises: it works out where you are stuck, changes how it explains when the first attempt did not land, and builds the exercises from there.
How does it adapt to me?
By watching how you study, not by making you fill in a test. From the first sessions it keeps track of which explanations unlock you, what form you prefer for a new concept and which mistakes keep coming back — and from then on it explains that way.
Does it replace a teacher or private tutoring?
Not a teacher. It sits alongside everyday study and it is there when a teacher is not — the evening before a test, for instance. Against an hour of private tutoring it has one specific advantage: next time, it remembers you.
Which devices does it work on?
In the browser, on computer, tablet and phone. There is nothing to install, and your progress is the same whichever device you pick up.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes. The processing happens on our servers, so without a connection the session does not start.
Where does my child's data go?
It stays in the student profile and it is there to build the next explanation. It is encrypted, processing follows the GDPR, and it is never sold or passed to third parties. Since the users are often minors, the part about data is written out in full in the privacy policy instead of summarised in one line.
What does it cost?
During the beta, access is free and no card is required. The price after the beta has not been decided yet: when it is, we will write it here and tell everyone on the list before it applies. We would rather have no price list than a made-up one.
Will the beta become paid?
Whether and how the beta turns into a paid plan has not been decided. What we can say now: nobody taking part will find a surprise charge, because no payment method is collected at this stage.
How are hours counted?
Every session counts as a full hour, even if the student ends it early. It works like a booked private lesson: from the moment it starts, that hour is theirs. We don't do this to charge more. We do it so the student understands that the time has value, and that their family's effort stands behind it. The parent report shows how every hour was used.
Is there a trial period?
The beta is the trial. You get in by request, seats are limited and they open curriculum by curriculum and subject by subject, because following a few people properly is the only way to learn whether the product works.
Which school systems does it cover?
The Italian system, IGCSE and British A-Levels, the International Baccalaureate, American K-12, the French AEFE system and the German Gymnasium. Each system has agents dedicated per subject and level — it is not one tutor wearing different names.
What if I change school or system?
You update your preferences and the path is rebuilt on the new curriculum. What you have already consolidated stays: the syllabus changes, the memory of how you learn does not.
Does it work for university?
Not yet. Today it is built for secondary school. University is a possible direction, not something we can promise right now.
