About us

Born in a classroom, not in a lab

The story of TutorAI does not start with a line of code. It starts with a student stuck in front of an explanation that, put that way, simply would not go in.

Brainstem: the functions you never see, holding up everything else

Where it comes from

Four steps, in order

  1. Fifteen years inside a real school

For over fifteen years our office was a school: bells, oral tests, staff meetings. We ran it and we taught in it, and we saw up close the same things families see — the pressure of grades, the single method that leaves behind anyone who reasons differently, potential that stays exactly where it is.

  2. The paradox to turn around

School asks different minds to fit one mould. The question TutorAI comes from is the opposite: what if the tutor adapted to the student? Not on what they learn — the syllabus decides that — but on how they learn it.

  3. Three disciplines, not one

TutorAI sits where teaching practice, the psychology of learning and language models meet. None of the three is enough alone: a model without teaching practice is a chatbot with good answers, and teaching without memory is a lesson forgotten the next day.

  4. What we promise, and what we don't

We promise a tutor that remembers you and changes method when the previous one did not work. We do not promise guaranteed grades: the product is in beta, real numbers will exist when there are real students, and we will publish them then.

The beta is open to a few, for now

Seats open curriculum by curriculum and subject by subject: it lets us actually follow the people taking part, instead of opening everything and failing to keep up. If your track is not there yet, tell us which one it is.
